Are You Physically Ready for Winter?

Winter brings a wide variety of physical activities, whether you ski or snowboard, or you “hibernate” all winter and stay in doors. Winter brings physical activities to everyone.
Tips to keep yourself free from injuries this winter:

Shoveling Snow: Start shoveling and snow removal early in the morning when the snow is light. Push the snow instead of lifting it.

Walking on Ice: Walk slowly and watch the ground ahead of you to avoid slick spots.

Skiing:
Get your legs in shape by doing squats and lunges throughout the day (do these while on the phone, cooking, brushing your teeth, etc.).

Snowboarding: Get your core and abdominal back muscles into shape by doing Core exercises on a physio ball. Wear a Helmet (trees always win vs. skulls and brains!!!)
